Wye Valley Music will present its eighth Music in June series this year. You’ve no doubt seen the classic 1967 animated Disney film, but now you can see it – Live! – at the Savoy Theatre in Monmouth.
9 – 10 June The Lord Chamberlain’s Men return to the beautiful surroundings of Chepstow and Raglan Castle. This hugely popular company arrive in June with their magical production of Much Ado About Nothing – Shakespeare’s sparkling battle-of-the-sexes comedy; a story of trickery, treachery and, ultimately, true love.
Off Centre Theatre Presents this very funny comedy of misunderstandings by Alan Ayckbourn at Monmouth Savoy Theatre, 18 – 21 May, 7.30 pm. The play is considered by many critics to be Ayckbourn’s best crafted piece. The writing is stylish and witty, with a comic sense springing from a very penetrating observation of character.
The longest running show in British theatre history will make its first appearance at The Courtyard, Hereford, from Tuesday 31 May – Saturday 4 June at 7.30pm, with 2pm matinees on Thursday 2, Friday 3 and Saturday 4 June.
